Ford Flaunts Great New Offerings at 2012 NAIAS

The 2012 North American International Auto Show was the most successful it has been in over a decade.  With some of the largest attendance numbers in recent memory, as well as some fabulous new vehicles on display; this year's NAIAS was a crowd pleaser.  I would be remiss if I did not mention that Ford Motor Company reminded the world why Detroit is called the Motor City with some of its redesigned 2013 models on display.

The talk of this year's show and a vehicle that got rave reviews by industry types was the newly redesigned 2013 Fusion.  Head turning styling, features such as MyFord Touch and the all new Lane Keeping System and a host of powertrain options ranging from gas, to hybrid, to fully electric; this car will certainly "Go Further" toward offering customers more of what they want in today's automobiles. Ford fans were also treated to the release of the 2013 Ford Escape, another striking redesign for a product that has been a fixture in the small SUV market for over a decade.  Fans were teased with this vehicle's concept version in past shows, happily Ford carried most of the design elements over to the production model.

From a performance standpoint, Ford hit two homeruns at this year's show. The 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 and the 2013 Focus ST both speak to Ford's success in racing and performance vehicles.  The GT500 is slated to have over 600HP out of the gate.  Does anyone know if Mother Waddles takes Camaros?  Stay tuned to our website so you can come in to Krug Ford and check out these hot new rides!

Have you driven a Ford lately?
